  • Germany Comes To the Rescue of Greece

    German Vice Chancellor and Economy & Technology Minister Philipp Roesler met number of top ministers of Greece government including Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou in a two-day visit to Athens. Papandreou said, “Investment in Greece is an investment in future”. Roesler praised the efforts and added that Greece will emerge out of the crisis. He assured that steps are being taken to encourage the investment in Greece. Government press release said two men discussed political situation, current situation of Greece and local economy.

  • Direct Flights: An Attempt to Regain Market Share by Air France

    Air France on October 2nd, 2011 started operating out of Marseille as its regional base. It was implemented because of decentralized strategy of Air France. Air France already operates 12 non-stop flights from Marseille of which nine are domestic and three are international. 13 new non-stop routes have been added from Marseille. Air France has introduced these new non-stop flights from Marseille with aim of operational costs by 15%. 130 pilots and 250 cabin crew have volunteered to be based in Marseille as a part of Air France’s measures to reduce operational costs. 

  • EU Contacted by Neighbouring Nations for Better Integration

    Europe stands in a region with many neighbouring nations and most of those countries are too small to function without the help of other nations. With Europe’s strength as a nation and because it is mainly one of the most important countries in the area, they are viewed as a leader and a country which can provide help to these other smaller nations. In consequence, some of the smaller nations which surround the European United have decided to send a letter to the EU in hope of getting their approval for an extra helping hand. Their main goal with this letter is to integrate the surrounding countries with the European United without actually becoming part of the same country. This would function as a sort of alliance between these countries and would allow them to work as one nation while still having their own independence and unique laws.
